EVENT: 19TH HIGH COUNTRY OPEN CLASSIC TOURNEY
WHERE: DURANGO SPORTS CLUB, DURANGO, COLORADO
WHEN: JULY 26-28/96
In one of the most scenic areas of Colorado, or in the U.S., the Durango Sports Club once again played host to the 19th Annual High Country Open Classic Tourney. This tourney traditionally precedes the Annual Handball Camp, which begins on the following Monday with Pete Tyson and John Bike.
David R. Farmer, owner of the DSC, has maintained this club in first class condition. Sherri Pippen and Julie Salyers, directors of the tourney, moved to a round-robin ladder in several ladders providing alot of play for the entrants. The sponsors this year were Xerographics Plus, Tropicana, Snapple, Rimrock and DominoÕs Pizza. The results were as follows:
